Think that all you can do is print your digital photos online or at your local drug store? Think again! This tutorial will help you discover the various ways that you can print your photos at home and make them look professional.
- You first need to open Preclick Gold.
- Select photos for printing – Below each thumbnail photo in the filmstrip are three small icons. The first one is used to select that photo for printing.
To select multiple (consecutive) photos for printing at once, click on the first thumbnail of the series you would like to add. Now hold down the “SHIFT” key on your computer keyboard and then scroll to the last thumbnail in the series you would like to add. With the “SHIFT” key still depressed, click the Print icon for the last thumbnail in the series. All thumbnails in between the first thumbnail and the last thumbnail should be added to the Print tab.
- Go to the Print tab (located at the top of the Preclick software).
- To print your photos, click the Print button at the bottom of the Print tab.
- Print options – You can select from various universal sizes like 4x6 or 8x10, or you can choose a preset number of photos per page, or a page of thumbnails. A preview shows you what your printed pages will look like.
Select whether you want to automatically rotate and/or crop your photos if they do not fit the layout you have chosen.
Select whether you would like to label each photo with its name, caption, and date. These labels will be printed below the photos.
Select the number of copies you would like to print or if you would like to fill each page with the same photo.
Lastly, you can select your printer and paper size and orientation. If your printer supports borderless printing, you can select that option under “Properties.”
- Click Print! That’s it!
